BUYING SOURCING TRIPS

This buying and sourcing trip intended for commercial buyers who come to Bali to source and purchase goods for commercial, like retailers looking for unique products for their online store, as well as for wholesalers or distributors looking to source and buy quality products in large volumes at very competitive prices to expand market coverage and increase margins.
This buying & sourcing trip available for Bali and Java area based on 8 hours a day, as well as multiple day trips, including hotel pick-up service, air-conditioned vehicle for up to 2 persons. Since this program is the most popular, we recommend you to book this trip 30 days prior your arrival.

After we review your booking trip details, we immediately send a confirmation to you. The more information we have about the items you are looking for the better prepared we can be for your trip, as we understand that your time is very valuable and we make every effort to ensure that your time is spent efficiently.
Once you arrive in Bali, our team will contact you for the possibility of a short meeting to discuss the purpose of your trip more specifically, including the items or suppliers that you are looking for in order to make a list of craftsmen and suppliers suitable for your needs. We start the trip in the morning by picking you up at your hotel in our spacious, air-conditioned vehicle and escorting you to the list of craftsmen and suppliers we have prepared.

One day trip usually spends 7 to 8 hours and giving you the opportunity to make a choice of various products directly to the craftsmen and suppliers, thus making the product selection process easier. During the trip, our professional account manager will assist you in negotiating the lowest possible prices, make detailed notes and photograph each item you choose.

Ordering Process
After the trip ends, our account manager summarizes all details of the selected items to prepare the best price quote and will be emailed to you for review within the next two or three days.
At the time we receive your final order, we will make a Proforma Invoice contains details of the items ordered, payment terms, and the estimated delivery time. We send the Proforma Invoice to you for you to confirm the order. Once you have confirmed the order, we require a 50% deposit of the total invoice.
Note: orders can only be processed when a minimum of 50% deposit is received. 

Production Monitoring
At the time your order goes into production, our team will routinely monitoring each supplier, keeping track of the order's progress and making sure suppliers produce the items according to POs that have been received from us. We will keep you updated on the progress of your order.

Quality Control Inspections
We pay attention to product quality without tolerance to quality standards set by the buyer. Our quality control measures are the best and of a high standard as we carry out quality checks including raw materials used, middle production, workmanship quality, quality of finish, color, size and moisture content. Rejected items could mean a delay in shipping and this is why we keep our customers fully aware of the progress of their orders. To avoid this, our team conducts frequent QC inspections during production. It is also as the reason we plan the delivery of products ahead of the shipping dates to allow if there are items that need to be serviced or replaced.
For furniture, our experienced QC team looks for any possible defects in actual product construction, strength of joints, gaps in joints, proper use of nails and screws. They focus on wood quality, looking for knots, discoloration, repairs and weaknesses. After this is done, they consider the actual product finish and the overall presentation of the item. Finally, our team will check for function ability of each part such as draws, and any other moving parts.
Another important thing that also needs attention is the moisture content of items made from wood. Items with high humidity can be exposed to mold or break easily when exposed to extreme temperatures. The lower the wood moisture level, the better.

Payment
Once you have confirmed the order, we send you a Proforma to require a 50% deposit of the total invoice to start production. The remaining payments is payable upon completion of goods prior to shipping.  We will send pictures of completed goods to give you peace of mind. The payment can be done by international bank transfer. 

Collection & Packing 
We start collecting goods from all suppliers for packing after the remaining payment is received. The packing process takes up to two weeks, depending on the quantity of your order. We can also provide special packaging with additional accessories needed based on request.

Shipping
We offer you very competitive shipping rates as we have established strong business relationships with major freight forwarders or shipping lines. We can arrange all your shipping requirements from full container load (FCL) to less than container load (LCL). We provide all necessary shipping documents for export clearance and coordinates with shipping lines to arrange the shipment of your goods to your destination. After your shipment leaves Bali, we will coordinate with your customs broker to ensure the shipment runs smoothly without any problems. Your customs broker will contact you when your goods arrive and provide details of import duties, taxes, destination local charges, etc. that you have to pay to clear the shipment. We can also appoint a reliable customs broker for you if you don't have one.
We will send to you by courier all original shipping documents required for customs clearance (Commercial invoice, COO, BL, Fumigation certificate, etc) within two weeks after the shipment leaves the port of Surabaya Indonesia and we continue monitoring the shipment until you receive the goods in your hands.
PLEASE NOTE: all shipments are made by sea unless otherwise requested, and you are obliged for shipping insurance of 2.5% of the value of declared goods.

Our Service Charges
Buying & Sourcing Trip Charges:
Daily trip charge is based on 8 hours a day (for Bali area) that will be credited back when you have confirmed to purchase one or more containers. 
This applies only to new customers while existing customers are free of charge.
Agent Fee:
We offer the most competitive service fees percentage based on your total invoice of goods and packaging without hidden fees. Our fees are for order placement, production monitoring, progress reporting, quality control inspections, collection & packing, clearance documents and shipping.
